MYBULEN CAPSULES are used for the relief of mild to moderate pain of inflammatory origin, with or without fever. The maximum recommended treatment period is 5 days.(Brand Available in South Africa)

MYBULEN CAPSULES contain three active ingredients:

Codeine: An opioid analgesic that relieves pain.
Ibuprofen: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and swelling.
Paracetamol: An analgesic that helps relieve pain.

Do Not Take MYBULEN CAPSULES If You:

Are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol, codeine, or any other ingredients in the capsules.
Have a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding, or perforation, especially from NSAIDs.
Suffer from heart failure or cardiovascular diseases.
Have liver or kidney disease.

Are taking or have recently taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Warnings and Precautions

Overdose of paracetamol can be fatal. In case of suspected overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

Children

MYBULEN CAPSULES are not recommended for children under 12 years.

How to Take MYBULEN CAPSULES

Dosage for Adults (12 years and older)

1 to 2 capsules every 4 hours as needed.
Do not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours.
Do not use for more than 5 days without medical advice.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Overdose

MYBULEN CAPSULES contain paracetamol, which can be fatal in overdose. If you suspect an overdose, seek immediate medical help, even if symptoms are not present. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, confusion, seizures, and difficulty breathing.

Possible Side Effects

Other NSAIDs or aspirin (higher risk of ulcers and bleeding).
Steroids (higher risk of stomach ulcers).
Certain antibiotics (e.g., quinolones – increased risk of seizures).
Lithium or methotrexate (risk of toxicity).
Antidepressants (SSRIs, MAOIs) (risk of bleeding and serious drug interactions).
Diuretics, ACE inhibitors, or beta-blockers (may reduce effectiveness in controlling blood pressure).

Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Fertility

Pregnancy: Do not use MYBULEN CAPSULES, especially after 20 weeks, as they may harm the baby.

Driving and Using Machines
