Symptoms of Overdose
Taking more than the recommended dose can be life-threatening.
Signs of Paracetamol Overdose:
- Nausea, vomiting
- Abdominal pain (especially in the upper right side)
- Liver damage (may take a few days to show symptoms)
Signs of Codeine Overdose:
- Drowsiness or unconsciousness
- Shallow breathing
- Small pupils
- Confusion
- Low blood pressure
Signs of Caffeine
Taking too much caffeine can lead to several unpleasant and sometimes serious side effects. These may include:
- Feeling restless or overly excited
- Experiencing muscle tremors or shaking
- Hearing a ringing sound in the ears (tinnitus)
- Seeing flashing lights or visual disturbances (called scintillating scotoma)
- Having a racing heartbeat (tachycardia)
- Noticing irregular heartbeats (extrasystoles)

Signs of Doxylamine Succinate Overdose:

- Death within 18 hours of overdose

- Hypotension (low blood pressure)

What Do the Tablets Look Like?
